It projects from or disappears into the false ceiling thanks to its intrinsic flexibility, revealing its double core as recessed luminaire and adjustable projector at the same time. This is Downspot, the first adjustable recessed projector in history in a single luminaire for accent or general lighting. Its soft, curved lines, slightly elongated lighting body project from the ceiling mounted housing to retract and be camouflaged with it thanks to the exclusive progressive friction locking device that allows a 65° movement in the vertical axis. Downspot uses all the lighting sources available to put together a complete lighting project. Therefore making Downspot an extraordinarily flexible luminaire that adapts to the various changes in display layouts

Body

Die-cast aluminium; with AVS system, design technology with self-ventilation of the lamp-refl ector compartment for optimum cooling and to increase the lifetime and effi ciency of the optical compartment.

Reflector

99.9% pure anodised aluminium.

Shield

The heat treated clear or antiglare silk-screen safety glass is part of the patented Polyblok system for rapid access to the optical compartment.

Adjustment

356° in the horizontal axis; 65° in the vertical axis.

Control gear technologies

For metal halide lamps: HF or built-in HPF control gear (digital superimposed timed safety ignitor – with burnt-out lamp control), low loss power supply (with thermal circuit breaker and power factor correction capacitor) with multicore silicone cable complete with a quick-fi t plug to connect to the socket on the luminaire.

Installation

Rapid installation with the Mollablok system for adjustable fi xing into false ceilings up to 35 mm thick for 120, 154 and 220 mm ? luminaires and with zinc-coated steel spring clips for 90 and 105 mm ? versions.
