Product Description

Superaxel is the architectural recessed projector that can enhance the spaces it is fitted into. Virtually invisible, fitted with a solid bezel that covers the attachment to the ceiling, the safety glass on Superaxel is set back and has a matt-finish centre for good visual comfort. Excellent to obtain a diffused lighting effect, Superaxel comes in three versions, including a Wall Washer type.

Body

Die-cast aluminium and back housing made from technopolymer in the versions for compact fl uorescent lamps.

Reflector

99.9% pure anodised aluminium.

Shield

Clear safety glass with matt finish centre, built into the bottom optics with quick coupling.

Control gear technologies

Pre-wired and fi tted with multi-core cable (with silicone outer protective sheath and Tefl on-coated inner wires) complete with a quick-fi t plug to connect to the socket on the luminaire. For metal halide lamps: HF or HPF control gear (digital superimposed timed safety ignitor – with burnt-out lamp control), low loss power supply (with thermal circuit breaker and power factor correction capacitor). For compact fl uorescent lamps: HF control gear, HF dimmable control gear, HF control gear with emergency pack, in prewired remote unit.

Installation

Rapid installation with the Mollablok system for adjustable fi xing into false ceilings up to 35 mm thick.

Solid bezel installation

Solid, minimal-design bezel that covers the attachment to the ceiling. Bottom optics with quick coupling via anticlockwise turn, stop clip to prevent uncoupling and shock absorber.
